MISSION
At Cultural Humility Consulting, my mission is to provide transformative cultural education that empowers us to learn, and grow collectively. I specialize in delivering tailored facilitation and or workshops that explore the rich tapestry of global cultures. I bring many years of lived experience as an international flight attendant. I incorporate my years of globetrotting to each session, offering unique insights gained from travel, cross-cultural engagement, and global exploitation. I can help your team achieve cultural humility and respect, across borders.
Experience
LaWana Boone is a global travel professional, cultural humility consultant, and dynamic speaker whose work centers on helping people connect across cultures with empathy, curiosity, and intention. Through storytelling and lived global experiences, she inspires audiences to explore the world with deeper understanding, respect, and meaningful human connection.
LaWana is the CEO and Founder of Cultural Humility Consulting, LLC, where she partners with organizations and audiences to bridge cultural gaps through workshops on openness, respect, and meaningful dialogue.
With over three decades in aviation as an International Flight Attendant, she has quite literally flown around the world. Her lived global experience also includes studying abroad in Ghana, Cuba, Honduras, and Costa Rica, giving her a powerful, firsthand understanding of cultural complexity and global interconnection.
In addition to leading her consulting firm, LaWana is an author and adjunct professor who speaks and teaches on inclusive leadership, global awareness, and intercultural understanding. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English, an MBA in Marketing, and graduate certificates in African American Literature and Diversity & Inclusion.
Through engaging storytelling and transformative facilitation, LaWana inspires people to travel with intention, reflect deeply, connect authentically, and grow, both personally and professionally.
